Hospital Policies

Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases will always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delays are inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs must be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms. For the safety of all animals in our care and our staff, we require that all rabies vaccinations be current. Vaccination may be required in order to treat your pet.

Even though we make every effort to make our patients feel comfortable during visits, they may be a little uneasy about new people, new surroundings and other pets. This is one of the reasons we ask you to restrain your pet. We recommend that animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers before entering the waiting room.

Hospitalized Patient Visitation Policy

We encourage clients to visit their pets while in the hospital, however, please know it is important to arrange your visit in advance. This is to ensure that the visit does not interfere with your pet’s treatment or treatment of other pets that are in our Hospital. Please be aware, that in certain cases, visitations may have strict limitations or may not be allowed at all. These restrictions must be followed in order not to jeopardize your pet’s recovery. Please understand that the veterinarian in charge of your case may not be available at the time of your visit to update you on your pet’s progress. However, you may call during regular office hours to check on your pet and one of our veterinary technicians will do their best to update you on your pet’s condition.

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. For your convenience, we accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, Check, and CARE CREDIT. We are pleased to announce that our office now provides the convenient and affordable pet care option of Care Credit. This is a low to no interest payment option. Please call our office for details or log on to carecredit.com for information or to apply.
